The girls of Summer

Kylee and her friends were at the Sedro-Woolley rodeo grounds for a horse event when they decided to go into town to the dairy Queen. A lady asked to take their picture and then sent it to channel 5 our local news station. Pretty cool, huh!!
Kylee and Macaroni are the ones closest to the DQ. MB

Old derelict for Sepia scenes

This old derelict boat has been sitting here off Fidalgo Bay in Anacortes for many, many years. When you come around the corner on Fidalgo Bay Rd. it seemed a welcome sight. It has been the subject of many paintings and photographs. Its owner tied it up one day and abandoned it. It has been rotting away ever since. The city fathers decided to remove it because of pollution and who knows what else. There was a small skirmish but they won out in the end and the boat is no longer there. I kinda miss it.

These guys are my eldest grand-son's favorite cow-calf combo on the ranch in Ritzville. Aren't they cute.

Nobody's Home......

You will find lots of these little shacks in eastern Washington out in ranching country. Lots of open spaces. I wonder what this was used for at one time. Maybe a homesteaders home. MB
