Mothership

This is tonight's early sunset. I thought the two clouds looked like a UFO mothership and it's baby ship.

Hardy Cyclamen

I just noticed my hardy Cyclamen (C.hederifolium) coming up. I planted a few corms a couple of years and these sweet tiny plants come up every fall. They come up flower, die back and the the beautiful leaves come out of the ground. They naturalize and soon will be filling up the small hill I put them on.

Pointing at the moon++adding more

6:30 this morning. I thought it was a beautiful moon shot. Well about 10 minutes later I was taking Kylee to school and the sky was doing wonderful things and when I got home Mt. Rainier was showing off.. Fog in the valley too. It all started with the sliver of the moon and I just got carried away with so much happening in the sky. And this all happened in a 20 minute time frame. AMAZING!!

Shannon and Ambush

I like this picture so much. This is my daughter Shannon and Gallant Ambush who is no longer with us. She is racing in the big pasture in the sky. She was a beauty. Shannon is still here and of course she is a beauty too.

Brrrrr

Temp this morning is 35F. Very nippy. It was warm and toasty in bed but then I had to get up. WAH!!!
Yesterday there were clouds and then sunshine. This is what is going on now.
Mt. Rainier in the morning. I love the fog in the valley. I am so fortunate to see the old girl every morning. Well when she is out, that is. MB

I was out this morning running the dogs, feeding the cats, checking the horses--what ever i do in the morning. I see these beautiful fat clouds. Now we have had a few days of rain and fog and I just know this day will be nice. See the sun pop out.

The mountain is out.

The weather has been so nice and the air clear. All the mountains have been out specially in the mornings. This pic of Mt. Rainier is from my deck at 6:30 AM. this morning Sept 8th.
She always amazes me. The sun is glowing on her flanks as it rises. The fog in the valley looks like the ocean.

Elbow to elbow

fishing. The salmon are coming in the Samish River from salt water and these fisher people are going crazy. I say let them (the fish) go up river to spawn.

All dressed up

and looking for new owners.
This little farmhouse down in the skagit Valley is for sale. years ago, maybe 20, it was right on the Skagit River but when they put in the new dike it was moved about 2 blocks away. Plunked right down in the middle of corn and potato fields. It is a very nice house and all prettied up for the new people. I can see it smiling. MB
