Visiters

Well here it is after midnight and I am sitting at my computer just doing stuff. My oldest daughter and her family were here for the day and a nice visit. They live on son-in-laws family ranch in Eastern Washington. It has been in his family for over 150 years. They raise beef cattle and are very good stewards of their land. They do all their work by horseback (mostly) and dogs. It is a great place to go riding and they have some good horses. They did some work around here for me, mostly got the chain saw out and did more winter storm clean up. It is really done but he wanted to clean up some trees. It was really good to see them as they haven't been over for about 1 1/2 years. Here is a picture of C on one of the horses, Feathers out in never never land. It is amazing the difference in topography in the same state. We, over here are covered with trees and they just aren't. Also a Ritzville sunset.
I took pictures of pictures they brought. It would be nice to have a scanner, maybe someday.

I think we both do very well, with our taking pictures of pictures. :-)

Had a scanner once. Never learned to master it.

I would love to live and work on a ranch, wait a minute, I live and work on a farm. I looked at Kylee's pictures. They were good. There is just something about an old and reliable horse. One that you can just sit and point towards the barrels. Had one like that. Wishing her luck this weekend. Still wish we was closer so I could watch her compete and see who could win the battle, the youngster or the elder. lol
Have a good one.

Great photos!! Keep a eye out at your thrift stores, you can find scanners there pretty cheap.
