Spring Snow

As I mentioned before we don't get much snow out this way. Last year snow was in November (06) to Jan (07). Just a trace this winter---WELL--now it is Spring and we are getting snow from winters past.
Here is what's happening NOW.

Well it is now about 4 hours since I started this. the computer went bye bye for awhile. Snow I guess on the receiver.

SPRING

So many signs of Spring. Little things poking up out of the ground---flowering trees in full bloom---daffodils with their blazing yellow heads. big full moon out there. I watched it go down this morning as beautiful as it was coming up last night. Glorious sunset yesterday too. Well not quite sunset. this pic was taken down my road looking over Stanwood and Skagit Bay from way up high at about 5:45.
Happy and holy Easter to all.

AMAZING

My daughter Richelle and I went to Langley on Whidbey Island to visit my mother-her grandmother. We had a very nice time and went into the small town and visited some shops. While we were there someone said the whales were out in the water. Langley in on Saratoga Passage. So we went out to look and sure enough out by a boat were some whales. We couldn't see them too well be cause we were not close enough but we could see the plume of water when they sprayed. None breeched. So it was exciting. They come in closer to feed when the tide is out, and the tide was coming back in. It was low tide around 6:30 that morning. But just being there and seeing all the people excited was fun. This happens every year but I've never been there when the whales were. They are Grays I think. I don't think Orcas yet.
This is a sightseeing boat that was out there. Those people had a good view. MB
