A beautiful day

This is where Dave and I were yesterday. First I had to go down south to my daughters house to deliver some pots and I got gas there. We live so close to everything, from salt water to mountains high. I guess we live halfway in-between. It is only an hour or two which ever way to go. Here is the Sauk River with a view of Mt. Baker and then the North fork of the Stilliguamish (Stilly)River and them Whitehorse Mt. A total of 112 miles-roundtrip. Beautiful. We usually head to the valley where Dave likes to watch the farmers or bird watch but yesterday we went where I feel the best. My heart is at peace in the mountains.

Little beauty

Driving down some backroads and came across this beautiful peacock.
It is just so amazing to see all the trees leafing out and everything so lush looking.

On the water

I went to whidbey Island to visit my Mother. I decided to take the ferry instead of driving around. Whidbey is an Island connected at the northend by a very high bridge and the southend by ferry boat. It is a two hour trip which ever way you go. It is either "shall we drive around or go down and take the ferry?" Six of one----.
this is a picture of the passing boat. MB

The Guardians (ribbet)

These guys watch over my herb garden. Right now the chives and Lavender are showing up. Sage is back there somewhere.
