Seasons

I thought he was cute in the snow until I got tired of snow. Now he looks cute in the spring foliage of Sweet Woodruff. He is in the exact same place. Oh, spring is so wonderful.

This mornings sky

This is what it looked like this morning from the front room windows. The day was on and off beautiful. Mostly full of huge white fluffly clouds. Cummulo nimbus (sp?) Some white clouds had very black bellies. Now the sky is still full of clouds and a rainbow to the East. Westerly clouds are aglow with orange shebert bellies.

Kylee loves horses

Here is Kylee on her very first pony, she got when she was 4. I think she is 5 or 6 in the picture. Pony's name is Winny. Kylee named her. And here is Kylee now age 13 and her horse Sadie. Kylee and Sadie have done many things together--gaming, penning, sorting and now mostly barrel racing. She just spent Spring break pushing cows on the ranch in Eastern Washington. She is just a horse nut.

Baby Maples

These babies are everywhere under my Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum). I pot some up and give them away and then I have to ............you know...I don't want to talk about it.

Dancing in the weeds

My post for the day.
Dancing in the Aegopodium or commonly known as Bishop's Weed and Grape Hyacinth or Muscari. I can mow the Bishop's Weed which can be very invasive but I have it contained and I can mow it so it doesn't get very high or flower. Already my dancing faerie is getting covered, actually there are 3 in there somewhere. Time to get the push mower out.
