My brother John

Nothing to do on this wet and soggy day so I was looking at pictures. These are from a few years ago.
This is my brother John--his life wish was to be a rock stsr. He played bass and sang in several bands. He was pretty good too. He still plays here and there.
My Mother has done Stained Glass for several years and just recently packed away her tools of the trade. This is a window she did of her guitar playing son. It was/is a fair sized window too. John has it now.

Leftovers

Pumpkin time is over---the stores are full and the pies have been made.

They will plow these under--nutrients for the soil.

Old rake~~~~Sepia Scenes

I took this picture of an old rake sitting in a field when I was in Ritzville. I liked it. I tried to do a Sepia treatment on it but no matter what I did the color still popped through. I still like it. MB

Mt Baker

My Power went off at 9PM last night and now 9ishAM it has finally come back on.
Wet, Wild and windy but thank goodness not too cold. So I am late but here now!

This Mt. Baker taken across the valley through a shrub growing on a barb wire fence. It is a Euonymous europaeus (maybe). Beautiful color and hot pink fruits.

Wintering in the Valley

The Snow Geese are BACK! They winter over in the valley and then in March or so (the farmers say please leave in March) back to the Siberian Tundra breeding grounds.
I am sure you all will see more pics of them. MB
