Viola, Violets and Volunteers-Today's flowers

as I walked around my yard today I saw these sweet little volunteer violas reaching up saying "look at me". I just love them and they grow everywhere. I even found a patch of Sweet Violets. Enjoy!

Pretty in pink for flowers from today

Cherry blossoms. My Saucer Magnolia is starting to bloom some more. Now it is pouring rain so I hope it survives. MB

Snow Goose

Snow Geese----Winter visitor in Skagit Valley, mostly on Fir Island and the Stillaguamish River delta near Stanwood. They arrive in October and the farmers hope they leave before April. They head north to breed on Arctic tundra from NE Russia east to Greenland.

Helleborus and more----Flowers For Today

I have several Helleborus in my yard. All different colors but this guy say "Hey take a picture of me". So I did.
My Magnolia is about ready to pop. So pretty in Pink
And the Skunk Cabbage is blooming--so you know spring is here. It is a coastal native.
