Flag Day--June 14th

June 14th is flag day in the US. While many of us fly the flag everyday it is still a day to stop and reflect on Old Glory and all she stands for and all we have put her through. And she still proudly waves.

Old-timer

Derelict boat in the Bay. I had some great info on the boat and of course can't find it now. So just look. What I do remember is the last owner crashed it there and left it. The town officials want to take it away and destroy it but residents want to keep it because everyone either takes a picture or paints it and it probably is home to many small creatures. So there ya go. MB

Wildflowers

This beautiful meadow is not too far from where I live. The farm is called 'His Farm-Her Garden'.

Growing up

The little goslings are growing up. They are getting their adult feathers and colors. It has been fun watching them grow.

More

Here are a couple more pics of my North Cascades road trip and hike. This is a foot bridge over Granite Creek. It was a wonderful walk in the woods.
