Wild sky for Sky Watch

I took this near the Keystone Ferry dock on Whidbey Island.

Great to have so much water about, whether within the river banks or outside it :-)
Loved the floods yesterday. Maybe even better than the proper rivers with their exotic names.

Love the horizontal crack in the clouds.

Looks like someone took a brush and painted a layer of white between darker clouds. Terrific shot, MB!

This is an iconic shot. Love the layering.

That is a wild sky, but it makes a wonderful picture.

A tug and a ferry, a wonderful sky, how perfect is that?

Had a surprise snow yesterday morning at the cabin, but down here in town it is just rain. It's a bit amazing, the elevation is about the same. I guess the mountains behind the cabin trap the colder air to make it happen. I can see the ferries from the condo window in town this morning, but the sky is just gray and drizzly. My trip was all too short, but wonderful just the same. - Margy

The sky may be wild, but the water looks pretty calm.
