Here are some pics of the trip over to my Mother's and on the island and back. Some pictures are in the fog on the way over. I guess i should put captions under the pictures but I know you will figure everything out.
When I was a kid (and I still am) My ambition in life was to be a hermit. I wanted to have a log house in the woods, with a fireplace and one wall would be bookcases full of books. I would have a horse and dog....I would be happy. Life interfers with dreams sometimes and I have always thought of my house in the woods.
It was a foggy day over and a pretty day on the way back. Everett has a Naval Base on it's waterfront and the carrier Abraham Lincoln, and other ships, are based there.
My mother is still knitting and making blankets, so she keeps busy. She went to have her hair colored and the colorist did something wrong and it turned out bright RED. She just wanted something soft and barely blond. Mother has a little red car and the hair matched the car. So no pic of Mother today. She is trying to lighten it and now it is pink. I told her it looked---well sorta--OK. because she is sweet and kooky anyway. She didn't buy it. We do go to lunch and I took her shopping and nobody dropped dead or ran screaming at the sight of her. We will all recover. I hope!!

MB,
love all the pictures of the last few days. Just sorry we didn't get to see Mom's nice red hair. Is it pink yet?
She has such a nice home and it sure seems she keeps busy.
Like the picture of the log cabin. I want one!!

You are so funny and she is so cute. :-)
And btw, I just got here, by clicking on the click-able link, which took me to your Profile Page. And all it {Profile Page} still has, is 'Holy Houses' link. And when I went to 'Holy HOuses' link, there was no link to your daily city photo blog, there.
In other words, you have to go "back to work" on your blog stuff. lol
Seeeeeee, even though I am sort of on a Net break, I do not stop giving you more stuff to do!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!! My bad. My bad.
