I had a nice visit with my Mother and we took a drive and stopped for lunch and enjoyed ourselves. As you know, my mother (91) is always on the lookout for a new project. she has fallen in love with this house and is wondering if it is a little too far gone for a remodel. It is so cute-but............we laughed!!

Sounds like your Mom is still up and running, well maybe just up. Running is a little much to ask for at 91. What house were you talking about. Mom want to buy a new house and fix it up?

I love the house...wouldn't it be wonderful to fix up?
I'm not much of a carpenter, but I don't think the green roof on the old house is a hopeful sign. It might just be too far gone for even Norm, Tommy and the rest of the This Old House crew.
