This wild rose, Nootka rose (rosa nutkana) is a Northwest Native. It grows wild everywhere. So pretty. It has huge bright red-orange rose hips in the fall and winter. Full of vitamin c.

Beautiful roses! Something similar grows here on the prairie. Called prairie rose and is light pink.
