Hardy Cyclamens

Hardy Cyclamens grow outside---these are different than the larger one that one has as a house plant. These guys come up every fall without there leaves. The leaves show up in the Spring and Summer. They like to grown under pine trees or that type of soil. They naturalize easily. Very neat. MB

What a beautiful soft lavender color to add to the fall leaves.

Aren't they sweeties.
Unfortunately the UK blackbirds, at least the ones that frequent my garden, nip the heads off and toss them aside. I reckon they think that they are redecorating:-)
Usually I manage to cage them ( the flowers, not the birds) in time, but this year I was too late.
