Family Shoes
Since my husband was a farrier for a time we had our names and our children and there children's names on shoes and in this house on the center beam in the front room. Added as they were added of course. 2 parents, 4 daughters 4 grandchildre. And before anyone says they are the wrong way my theory is that if the shoes hold good luck you want it to fall on you every time you walk under them---so naysayers--hush!.. MB

I think that's pretty cool! Horseshoes overhead. Could be costly, though. 'Course if'n one of them fell on my head, probably wouldn't hurt a thing.
Hmmm. I didn't even know there was a proper way to hang them. And I like your interpretation! This is such a cool idea!
